The Board of Deacons is a committee that is composed of up to 12 members and elected per our By-laws. The Chairperson is also a member of the Church Council and the Coordinating & Planning Committee. We help the Pastor in the spiritual care of the church, coordinate Sunday Service, prepare Communion, and other sacraments.

OUR MINISTRY TEAMS
WORSHIP TEAM
This team is made up of Deacons, the Music Chair, the Music Director, and the Pastor. Together they work together to plan all services, including Sunday worship and special services such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, confirmations, and new members services. The worship team is the heart and soul of the church, making sure members and visitors have an inspiring worship experience as well as the opportunity to give input into music selections.
FAITH FORMATION TEAM
This team is made up of the Superintendent of Sunday School, Sunday School Teachers, and the Pastor. Together they are responsible for planning and implementing Christian education for youth, pre-k through high school. They also coordinate many youth activities and service projects throughout the year. The Pastor is responsible for Christian Education activities for adults, including Bible and Lenten studies.
OUTREACH & EVANGELISM TEAM
This team is is responsible for conducting outreach to ensure that the community is aware of our service and activities. Flyers for our events are distributed throughout the community and posted on the town's social media pages. Over 100 people, mostly non-church members, attend our biannual karaoke nights. Welcome packets are mailed to all new town residents and greetings cards are mailed to shut ins for most major holidays.
